Friday March 19th and Saturday March 20th  2010 the SP Ausnet Energy Innovation Festival Wonthaggi will showcase the latest in renewable energy, vehicle and building products and techniques, solar and water  technologies plus information on courses and career options for those interested in training and working in the field. This event supports the Wonthaggi Human Powered Grand Prix which runs alongside.

We are actively seeking volunteers for 2010 event.

Businesses, schools, individuals, and community groups are invited to enter to display their innovation, creativity and practical solutions to the challenges of energy use and conservation. See tab at left for entry forms.

Midday Saturday March 20th to midday Sunday March 21st 2010, school and community teams challenge themselves and each other in a thrilling 24-hour test of energy efficient design, race tactics and personal stamina. The human powered vehicles (HPVs) travel at up to 30 kms per hour on a 1.4 km track which is reputed to have the best HPV-track corners in the country, for excitement, spills and the skills required to succeed.

Race entries plus entries to Push-Cart event, open now. Early booking is recommended to avoid waiting list.
