The Greenhouse Opportunity for Energy: Driving Jobs, Investment and Reducing Emissions
The greenhouse ‘challenge’ is viewed by the Electrical Trades Union (ETU) as an opportunity that should be embraced positively by the community, industry and governments. The experience in many countries overseas has shown that contrary to the notion that somehow programs to reduce greenhouse gases will ‘cost’ the community, such programs create jobs; deliver significant welfare benefits to households; and inspire healthy and comfortable workplaces. |
